flower matter exhibition at pak khlong talad

2021

In collaboration with Earth-Parita Thanyasirin, the owner of Flowers in the Mist, we invite everyone to discuss and exchange ideas on the future of flower waste together while enjoying sculptural bouquets decorated with biomaterials developed from flowers of its own species.

The fresh flowers on display will gradually wilt over the course of the exhibition. Once they are no longer suitable for display, the flowers and their wrapping materials will be recycled for research purposes.

This exhibition is part of the Flower Matter research project. All materials displayed in the exhibition are made from surplus flowers from Flowers in the Mist. The sculptural bouquets are arranged by Parita.

Data collected throughout the exhibition will be used to aid the future development of Flower Matter in Thailand.
