2021/22
Flaux has been developed with the potential of being implemented in the textile industry. To assess its suitability, a set of small handbags has been prototyped.
The design features basic shapes and construction techniques, such as sewing. Standard zippers and threads available at regular craft stores were purposely selected for the collection to showcase Flaux’s potential within standard construction techniques.
After a series of hand-sewing tests, the final pieces were sewn together using a household sewing machine.
